In 2012, UAB "Karbonas" underwent several significant quality changes.
Firstly, in the middle of the year, the company obtained ISO 9001-2008 certification through the efforts of the entire team, marking a significant milestone in quality management.
Secondly, UAB "Karbonas" maintained a high rating according to the Credit Info rating system, a distinction held by only 4% of Lithuanian companies, as in 2011.
Thirdly, the company joined the global network "Hardox wearparts," comprising manufacturers of wear-resistant HARDOX steel components.
Lastly, significant investments were made in infrastructure, including the construction of a warehouse for materials and finished products, and the acquisition of a range of new, efficient equipment: Resato AWJ3060 water abrasive cutting machines, Kone Kranes 5T cranes, Siegmund welding tables and assembly tools, FARO Edge spatial structure measurement machine, Bystronic Bysprint Fiber 3.0 kW laser, and the RWT RRDB-1100 metal slag cleaning and grinding machine.
Furthermore, construction began on foundations for the upcoming spring installation of Okuma MCR-A5C two-column milling machines, capable of processing spatial structures up to 6500x3000x1900 mm in size.
